Justice tarot card — hand embroidered on reclaimed linen fabric, Tiny Tarot Art series by Lolo Little Space

Justice: Where Balance Is Restored

Balance is restored! 11/21 Justice.

After Wheel of Fortune's turning cycles comes Justice - the card of balance, fairness, and cause and effect. This is about accountability, truth, and the natural consequences of our actions.

In my hand-embroidered tarot series, Justice represents the integrity required in creative work and the balance between effort and outcome.

The Symbolism

Justice sits between two pillars, holding scales in one hand and a double-edged sword in the other. The scales represent balance and fairness, while the sword cuts through illusion to reveal truth. Her crown and red robe show authority and passion for what is right. The purple cloak represents compassion within the law.

This card asks: Are you being fair to yourself and others? What needs to be balanced in your life?

My Interpretation

Stitching Justice required precision and balance - each side of the design mirroring the other, each element given its proper weight. The reclaimed linen receives justice too - rescued from waste, given new purpose, treated with the respect it deserves.

Justice reminds us that we reap what we sow, that truth always emerges, and that balance is not something we find but something we create through our choices.

Justice's Message

  • Balance - Seek equilibrium in all things
  • Truth - Be honest with yourself and others
  • Accountability - Take responsibility for your actions
  • Fairness - Treat yourself and others with equity
  • Consequences - Every action has a reaction
