The Symbolism
A warrior sits in a chariot pulled by two sphinxes - one black, one white - representing opposing forces that must be balanced and directed. The charioteer wears armor decorated with crescents and a crown of stars, showing mastery over both emotion and spirit. No reins control the sphinxes; willpower alone guides the journey.
This card asks: What opposing forces are you balancing? Where is your determination taking you?
My Interpretation
Stitching The Chariot required sustained focus and momentum - the discipline to keep going stitch after stitch, balancing the creative impulse with the technical precision needed to bring the vision to life. The reclaimed linen becomes the vehicle, carrying both the image and the intention forward.
The Chariot reminds us that success comes not from force, but from focused intention and the willpower to keep moving forward.
