🌟 Fun Fact
In Cantonese culture, love is often shown through actions rather than words — cooking a meal, checking you've eaten, showing up. The phrase 我愛你 (Ngo Oi Nei) is actually quite rare to say out loud in traditional families! Love is expressed through care, food, and presence. 🍜❤️
✏️ Activities
1. Say I love you! Practise saying 我愛你 (Ngo Oi Nei) out loud. Then think about who you'd say it to — and maybe actually say it to them today! ❤️
2. Family vocabulary practice! Point to a family photo and name each person using today's vocabulary — Maa Maa, Baa Baa, Sai Lou!
3. Write it! Write 愛 (love) by hand. It's one of the most beautiful characters in Cantonese — notice the heart (心) radical at the bottom! ✍️
